My name is Iria.
My story began in a small village in northern Portugal.
At 17, I moved to Switzerland, without a word of German, but with a great deal of courage. Today I live between languages, cultures, and roles: as a mother, partner, and HR manager.
The first few years in Switzerland were shaped by language barriers, insecurities, and moments of doubt. But I never stopped dreaming and found my way...
Today I work in HR, combining strategy with people skills, heart, and humor. And at home? I'm a mother, partner, family manager—and usually the one with the best joke at dinner.
My book is a passion project and it is my story – honest, sometimes strange, but hopefully encouraging for everyone who finds themselves between cultures, careers and identities.
